Yummy!!!!!
I just started feeding Daniel people food (well, closer to it than my milk!) about a week ago! At first he really loved it. Whenever I want to feed him, I try to make it enjoyable. As I prepare his food, I sing to him "Yummy, yummy, yummy, for my Danny's tummy!" He really got a kick out of it at first. He would smile and laugh while he was eating and with every swallow he would let out an exuberant "Mmmmm!!" It was so cute. I don't know what happened, though, the past couple of days he's been distracted. I guess, I'll just have to come up with some new tricks for making mealtimes enjoyable! Wow! He's so big! And soooo cute!!! It was too long ago when Raegan started eating baby food, so I don't remember what tricks I used to keep her interested. I think he was probably just really excited about something new and now it isn't new anymore. I always just talked to Raegan all the time about everything. I would just tell her what I was doing and talk to her about the yummy food that would make her big and strong. She didn't understand me at the time, but I think she just loved to hear me talk. Now she loves to hear herself talk. ;-)
