Filling in the Gap in Time

As I was looking at our blog, I realized there's about 3 or 4 months of pictures of Daniel that I haven't shown you all. I forget that I get to see him everyday and that my family in the U.S. doesn't get too and is just soaking up any glimpse of him. So, here's some of his best ones over the past few months. Enjoy!

May 22nd - Over the past six and a half months, I have some memories of when Daniel looked sooo cute. This was one of those days. He was so happy.

June 25th - I think I've mentioned to some of you about how much Daniel enjoys playing on our bed. I like this pictures because he had such a sweet look on his face.

June 28th - I'm usually the one behind the camera. Daniel got all dressed up to go to his first Birthday Party. He had so much fun and everyone loved his little outfit. They all said "Balaca Kishi" - that means "little man" - his pants were from the Gap (Thanks Don and Rita!) and his little button up shirt was a gift from my Aunt and Uncle (Thanks to the Pettit Family!). Reza's uncle was surprised that Daniel's little pants had a zipper and button.

July 3rd - We got Daniel's picture taken at a studio here in Tabriz. They use a lot of Photoshop and the person ends up looking a lot different than they really are. After we got home, Daniel looked so cute, that I decided to take some pictures of my own. Of course it can't compare to a nice backdrop and other props, but I thought he looked pretty good. It really shows his personality - he's a pretty content little guy has a very expressive little face.

July 22nd - Daniel has always been captivated by the camera - which makes it easy to take pictures of him - all he does is smile and stare at it. This is a picture of him in his bedroom - we have it decorated in primary colors. He's really happy in there.

Megan,
Love the pic of Daniel from the day you had the professional pictures done. Your picture looks really good, I think. Can you email me the picture? I want to print it at Target but its not letting me click on it to make it bigger and it will come out blurry if I print the one from the blog.
Love ya,
Christy
