It's been a while!

A whole lot has happened since we last put a post on Daniel's blog. He celebrated his first birthday, he started walking, talking a little, and, he's traveled to the U.S. on another trip (3rd time across the ocean - 1st time was in my womb, 2nd time he was 6 weeks old, and the 3rd a month ago!). He's our little world traveler.

Mom and Daniel are now in the States on vacation for the summer while Dad is at home in Iran busy working and trying to keep busy so not to miss us too much.

Lately, Daniel has been "calling" for his Daddy. He's been saying "baba baba!"

He's getting a pretty good vocabulary for a little guy. His newest words are "shoe" and "outside" - pronounced "ooh - sad" - no that's not turkish, just the way he says "outside." Oh, so cute!

The cutest thing he's learned lately - how to make kissing sounds. So sweet!

Eating an Iranian food called "dishlig" - it's cooked for babies when they first start teething to ease the pain and to celebrate that they now are getting their teeth in. Reza's mom (shown in the picture) cooked it and fed it to him. (November 16th, our home in Tabriz)
